North Springs Charter High School is committed to academic excellence for all students. Nearly ninety (90%) of our graduates continue their education in a two or four year college or university, with the remaining students entering the military or world of work. NSCHS strives to make sure all students meet graduation requirements and those aspiring to higher education are well prepared for the college admission process; and we are proud of the colleges and universities our graduates attend.

Our curriculum is rigorous and challenging and meets the needs of a wide variety of learners. In addition to on-level classes and our acclaimed math/science and visual and performing arts magnet programs we offer:

19 honors classes, 20 Advanced Placement classes, special programs and industry certifications in business and career technology, health sciences, early childhood education, JROTC, Jobs for Georgia Graduates, mentorships, internships and joint enrollment in actual college classes set North Springs apart. Students with mild to moderate learning disabilities will find support through our Interrelated Resource Program; English Speakers of Other Languages will find our ESOL program provides those whose primary language is not English an opportunity to acquire language and content skills needed for success in and out of school; and the Talented and Gifted Program (TAG) serves academically advanced and talented students with opportunities for seminars, internships and self-directed study.

Daily Schedule:

North Springs operates on a modified block schedule: students attend 7 class periods on Mondays, Thursday and Fridays. On Tuesday and Wednesday there are only 4 90 minutes class periods each day. This schedule allows for a special 8th period.
