  • Two (2) additional units
Four (4) units of Science
  • One (1) unit of Biology (may be AP)
  • One (1) unit of Physical Science or Physics (may be AP)
  • One (1) unit of Chemistry, Earth Systems, Environmental Science, or AP Science
  • One (1) additional unit from any AP, academic, or career tech science
Four (4) units of Mathematics
  • One (1) unit of GPS Algebra or GPS Accelerated Integrated Advanced Algebra Honors
  • One (1) unit of GPS Geometry or GPS Accelerated Integrated Geometry Honors
  • One (1) unite of GPS Geometry or GPS Accelerated Pre-calculus Honors
  • One (1) unit of a 4th Year Option such as:
    • Mathematics of Finance
    • Advanced Math Decision Making
    • AP Calculus AB/BC
    • AP Statistics
    • GPS Pre Calculus
Three (3) units of Social Studies
  • One-half (1/2) unit of American Government/Civics
  • One (1) unit of World History
  • One (1) unit of United States History
  • One-half (1/2) unit of Economics
Three (3) units of World Languages* and/or Career Tech** and/or Fine Arts
  • Three (3) units of coursework
One (1) unit of Health/Physical Education
  • One-half (1/2) unit of Health
  • One-half (1/2) unit of Personal Fitness
Seven (7) units of Electives
  • Seven (7) units of coursework

  • Twenty-six (26) units of coursework

 

*Students planning to enter or transfer into a University System of Georgia institution must take two units of the same world language. These two courses may be used to satisfy the requirements of the World Languages and/or Career Tech and/or Fine Arts requirement or the Electives requirement.

**Students wishing to gain industry-certified credentials must follow specific career tech pathways.
