Friends of North Springs, or FONS, is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization established in 2004, as the umbrella fund raising organization for now, North Springs Charter High school. FONS is comprised of parent and community volunteers dedicated to providing a solid financial foundation to support opportunities for the school and its students beyond what public funding can provide. To date, FONS has raised over $400,000 from individual donors and organizations which has been used to fund many school needs and teacher grant requests.

Going forward FONS is dedicated to funding Vision 20/20, an ambitious and exciting capital campaign and educational funding process the foundation launched in fall 2010. ThroughVision 20/20, FONS with support from other parent booster groups, students and the administration is committed to “making a great school even better” and having North Springs outward appearance finally match the quality of the outstanding education going on inside its walls.
